Welcome to the Scymitar CD web site !!!
The Scymitar CD is a collection of songs written at the time I was playing in the
band 'Scymitar'. The music to 'The Harder You Rock', 'Battleground', 'Don't Wake Me', 'Echos' and 'Hat Dance' was a team
effort by the origional members ~ Mark Bishop, Rick Hoover, Mike Miller & myself. I was responsible for the
lyrics on 'Battleground', 'Echos', and 'Hat Dance'. Mark and I teamed up on the others. 'Get Up' and 'Sold Me Out' were brought
into the band by myself. 'Rock & Roll Suicide' was actually put together by Gary Miller (Sinister Midget) and myself before
Gary left "Midget". The song was refined in 'Scymitar'. 'Everything Girl' and 'It Won't Be You' were band efforts that
were sang by Mark Wilson when we performed them live. The songs "Scymitar" and "UnderKeeper" were songs in my vault of tunes
that I re-vamped recently and made them enjoyable.
