The origional title to the CD was going to be "The Spice of Life", implying that the disc would have a lot
of variety. But the more I thought about it, the cornier it sounded. The first single was "Dead Nite at the Bar" which was
recorded in Seattle, WA at Studio North Distinctive Audio.
I also recorded "Love Somebody", but the mix never came out the way I wanted it. The remaining
songs (with the exception of "Motorcycle Mama") were recorded by Ray Nesbit, who also recorded
some of Aaron Neville's CD's. "Motorcycle Mama" was fittingly, the first song recorded in my own "Shy Blue Studios".
The single, "Dead Nite at the Bar", was placed in the
ALIBI ROOM jukebox and received alot of attention. Download sales for the CD has been fairly successful, and with a little
luck and alot of promotion, the follow-up CD will do even better.
